How to Fix Requested Operation Requires Elevation Error

You may have noticed this error when you try to execute some commands are install new software on windows 7 or windows vista . You get this screen for the program require to run as administrator but you are actually in the normal user mode. This is spacial feature called User Account Control (UAC) that check whether this program has appropriate permission run. If program require to run as administrator user and you are not login as administrator then you may receive this error.

There are two way to  fix this issue.

1) This is quick  way to turn off this nag message. Simply run command or program as administrator to fix this issue.

Go to Windows 7 Start button –> All Programs –>Accessories

Now right click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator

2) You can disable User Account Control (UAC) feature if you really don’t like it. We recommend to keep this feature on for security reason.

Click on Start button -> Control Panel . Then click on User Accounts and Family Safety option.

Click on User Account

Click on User Account Control Setting

Move slider down at end till last point from middle position to disable this feature.
